I was just sitting down to tell you all about our super fancy hotel in Cairo- the Hilton Conrad Cairo- come to find out it has permanently closed! The property has now been taken over by the brand Sofitel- but the building is just as gorgeous as it was before!
The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and I can tell you this hotel had the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced! We had a nice patio overlooking the nile, and the buffet was absolutely delicious! I hope the new hotel will be just as nice.
We didn’t explore the neighborhood outside the hotel, but it appeared there was a nice walkway along the nile in the evening with lit up party boats that cruised the Nile at night. The hotel also had a gorgeous rooftop bar with amazing views!
