Egypt is a country that has captured my imagination since I was a child. A bucket-list trip for me, I spent a very full two weeks exploring this country. Egypt gets a bad wrap online. In recent years, several content creators have published negative views on Egypt because of filming restrictions and possible harassment.

Do not be afraid of Egypt. It is a welcoming country that depends on tourism. The treasures of this country are endless. The frustrations are felt at the tourist sites by vendors that are extremely persistent in trying to get you to visit their shop. If you don’t want to be bothered, just smile, look down, and keep walking.

While the Giza Pyramids is an absolute must see in Egypt, it was not my favorite destination. There are so many incredible sights and amazing people in this country-
